Supercapacitor is a type of electric energy storage devices with high power density (comparing with batteries), high energy density (comparing with other types of capacitors), long service life (up to one million cycles), and long term stability. It’s also safe and environmentally friendly. Supercapacitor can be used in a variety of industries owing to its unique features. Its core electrode is made of highly porous material. In our technology, we use biomass as raw material that undertakes a series of processes such as carbonization, activation, and post treatment. The final material has sufficient effective specific surface area and balanced pore size distribution favouring  charge miobility and adsorption on the surface.
