Signing Ceremony for “ Forum on advanced energy materials and technology “and ”Advanced Energy Materials and Application Technology Institute of Jiangsu Industrial Technology Research Institute (JITRI)”

On March 25, 2018, the Signing Ceremony organized by AEM for “Forum on advanced energy materials and technology “and ”Advanced energy materials and application technology institute of Jiangsu Industrial Technology Research Institute”was held in Changzhou City Hall.  Advanced Energy Materials and Application Technology Institute of Jiangsu Industrial Technology Research Institute ( simply as Advanced Energy Institute), which was jointly founded by Advanced Energy Materials Co. Ltd., Changzhou National High-tech Industrial Development Zone and Jiangsu Industrial Technology Research Institute (JITRI), was formally established. This institute is one of the 38 professional institutions under JITRI, also one of 15 professional institutions under new system named as   “Core Team Members Operation Company”. It is the first institute of JITRI to be joint established with a list company of stated-owned enterprises. The Strategic Consulting Committee of the company with 13 renowned academicians and experts on board is the precious resource to support the company’s long-term sustainable development.

Vice General Director Guoying Cao of Department of High-tech Development and Industrialization of Ministry of Science and Technology, Director Yong Gan of National Expert Advisory Committee for the Development of the New Materials Industry, President Qing Liu of Jiangsu Industrial Technology Research Institute, Mayer Chun Ding of Changzhou Municipal Government , Academicians of Chinese Academy of Engineering Jianxin Xie, Wei Li and Zuoren Nie and other outstanding experts and peers in the field of materials science and technology took parted in the ceremony. Director Zhengchun Chen of Management Committee of Changzhou National High-tech Industrial Development Zone hosted the ceremony.  Party secretary Yidong Hu of Jiangsu Industrial Technology Research Institute, Vice Director Jun Yan of Changzhou National High-tech Industrial Development Zone and President Shaoxiong Zhou of Advanced Energy Materials Co. Ltd., co-signed the cooperation agreement on the joint establishment of Advanced Energy Institute.

In the ceremony, president Qing Liu of Jiangsu TRI introduced their strategies on the innovation development schemes, such as promoting professional institution building with “Marketing orientation, Opening orientation, Incentive orientation; operating New R&D institutions by program managers; making a industrial ecology with “ technique R&D +Professional incubation+Exclusive funding”. President Shaoxiong Zhou of Advanced Energy Materials Co. Ltd., introduced the institution building scheme and the strategic development plan for the company. Mayer Chun Ding of Changzhou Municipal Government and the honored guests witnessed the signing ceremony. During the conversation, Vice general director Guoying Cao, Academicians and experts gave some advises and suggestion from profound insights on the institution establishment of Advanced Energy Materials and Application Technology Institute . 

Advanced Energy Institute will meet the requirement on the industrial innovation and traditional industry upgrading scheme in Jiangsu Province, and joint with the resource from National Sci-Tech Planning, Key Sci-Tech Program and Demonstration Sci-Tech Project. Combined “Internal originated and external introduced” together, the company is exerting its efforts to establish an international platform for technology innovation, top talents gathering, technology achievements transfer, technology/capital integration and high-tech enterprises incubation. This will promote Changzhou National High-tech Industrial Development Zone to become the first class gathering zone for the national first class enterprises and top talents, even international enterprises and top talents.
